Laurent Ferrier - perhaps a name you haven’t heard of but they are among the very best low volume Swiss watch houses to exist. Laurent's name is steeped in horological history, having spent 37 years at Patek Philippe, working on various iconic time pieces over the decades and eventually heading up the creation department, before leaving to found his own brand - Laurent Ferrier in 2009. 

A brand rooted in creating timepieces combining balance and harmony using the finest materials available and annually only producing around 250 pieces a year. Their very first creation in 2010 the classic tourbillon double spiral won best men’s watch at the prestigious GPHG awards. 

Fast forward to 2019 - the brand launches the grand sport tourbillon golden brown - a limited run of 24 watches - each numbered. It's case is designed like a beautifully sleek car body, combining clean lines and generous curves with a high-performance engine: the LF619.01 tourbillon calibre with a double balance spring, the very pinnacle of  horology.

The Grand Sport case is driven by the exclusive in-house movement developed, assembled and adjusted by Laurent Ferrier. This calibre features a tourbillon device based on the principle introduced by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1801, and complemented for the first time by a double hairspring. The major advantage of this construction is its ability to keep the balance centred on its axis, while compensating for the effects of gravity and thereby guaranteeing the extreme reliability of the rating system.

This example is in brand new condition, with no signs of wear or polishing. The watch comes as a complete set with the 2024 dated warranty card, the original box and accessories.
