Then pay attention, because if you can’t get your hands on a “Big Crown” Submariner or a Seamaster equipped with a laser, this may be the next best thing: In 2020 Swatch released a series of watches called the Swatch X 007 Tribute Collection, inspired by classic James Bond films. Fun, lightweight and affordable, they’re an enjoyable entry point into 007-themed watch collecting that need not bankrupt the collector.

It features a 41mm plastic case, a plastic crystal, an unsigned crown, and a sunburst red and orange sector dial inspired by 007’s gun barrel with a silver plastic handset. It comes paired to a rubber strap with flames that echo the film’s poster and a Swatch-signed pin buckle.
